SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER VALIDATION API

The same data that powers SSN Validator can now be used to process your company's data via our API. The most common use of these services is to either validate a social security number as being issued or not or to simply determine if the SSN appears in the Social Security Administration's (SSA) death masterfile. We update the death masterfile, also referred to as the SSDI, on a monthly basis.

The basic data returned from our API includes these elements:

Was the SSN issued?

Approximate date of issuance

State of issuance

Name of Decedent (if in SSDI)

Month and Year of Death (if in SSDI)

Through-date of Death Masterfile data as of processing date

API DETAILS:

To access the API, you must create an account using the Subscription information at our public website. If you prefer to pay by Paypal, let us know and we will provide an email address to direct your Paypal account to. After the account is created, you will need to request API access. After verifying that you represent a legitimate business, we will authorize your account for API access and you will have full access to the API documentation and API.

The cost for API processing is 1 cent per record. There is a $50 minimum payment required to start service. Credits expire one year from date of purchase.

Please note we do not allow this service or data to be re-purposed. Its purposes are for fraud control/detection and risk mitigation/loss control. We reserve the right to refuse service to any user.

This service is not available to credit repair, credit monitoring, or CPN (credit privacy number) users.
